How Will you Get Pay after you sell items on eBay?

One of the things that a scare most people out of selling items on eBay are wondering how they're going to get paid. But, you needn't be worried. It's not nearly as complicated as it seems. As always, since the inception of eBay, you can accept checks and money orders through the mail. But, that takes a lot of time and of course there's always that chance you take with a personal check and having it returned. No, there's a much quicker, safer way to accept payment for items you sell on eBay. It's a Paypal account. What is Paypal? Glad you asked... Paypal is a service that offers you a sort of online bank account. You actually link it to your real bank account and it's really all you need to accept payment on eBay. It's safe and secure. And it's totally integrated with eBay. What does that mean? Simply put, you can accept payment from your winning bidders with one click of your mouse and eBay takes care of the rest. They direct your buyer to Paypal after the auction for payment. And Paypal even has a link on their main page now stating "Sell on eBay." Opening a Paypal account is free and deliciously easy. Go to their main page at paypal.com and follow the links. They'll have you set up in no time. They'll ask for your name, address, etc. They'll also ask for your bank account information, so have your checkbook handy when you sign up. They'll confirm your account by making two very small deposits. It takes a couple of days to confirm your account, but once that's done, you can add other bank accounts including savings accounts, credit cards, and debit cards and have them all linked together. Once you're confirmed, to accept Paypal as a payment method, you just click on the checkbox on the eBay item listing form and you're all set. Paypal charges a percentage of each transfer made into your account, but for this small price, they offer convenience of immediate payment and even eBay seller protection against fraud and disputes. PayPal isn't a convenience for eBay sellers anymore. It's a necessity. Buyers want their items as soon as possible, and paying with Paypal helps them get it quicker. And, if you apply for, and receive, a Paypal debit card, you will have access to the money immediately. I love my Paypal debit card. It is accepted everywhere major credit cards are accepted and works just like your bank account debit card. In fact, it's better. When I use my Paypal debit card as a credit card, Paypal gives me 1% of my purchase price back. So, if you're worried about getting paid for your auctions on eBay, worry no more. Get over to Paypal and open your account.

How to get a cheaper mortgage

The unstoppable growth in the price of the houses, both new and second-hand, leads to an extra-effort to search for a cheaper mortgage. Probably this will be the most important investment that we will make in all our lives, so we need a mortgage that let us achieve the best possible conditions to aspire a greater tranquillity in the future. However, the concept of cheaper mortgage is somewhat vague, and we should determine what parameters to monitor at the time of taking a mortgage. Then summarize the most important features, so that we can use this list as a guide when negotiating with the bank. Interest rate: probably one of the most important factors, which relate our monthly mortgage and its duration. The interest rate may be fixed or variable, and in the last case we will have to choose a reference rate.

Mortgage duration: the longer the duration of the mortgage the shorter the monthly fee is, but the greater are the interest that we will have to pay to the bank.

Commissions: there are large numbers of committees for different concepts, and we will need to properly analyze them all.

Additional products: in some cases banks force us to hire additional products for better terms. In these cases it will be very important to calculate the actual cost of such a derivative product.

My Personal Advice:

Be aware for the low monthly fees associated with long-term mortgages (40 or 50 years). In these cases, the interest that the bank takes is enormous, depending on the interest rate and duration you can end paying between 2 and 3 times the actual value of the house.
Talk with the Mortgages specialists if you need more help.

Pay Per Play The New Internet Breakthrough

Pay Per Play or PPP it’s a 5 second audio advertisement purchased by big brand advertisers in a new type of Pay Per Play. PPP will give these major brands the great opportunity to reach a target audience on a bigger scale.Internet Marketing will not be the same after Pay Per Play advertising. The Internet have more than 900 million people going online every day, and PPP it’s going to transform the Internet in the worlds largest listening network, bigger than all other forms of media, television, radio, etc.
The PPP code can be put in any page of your website. The ads don't take up space on your webpage. You just have to place them the page that you want your visitors to hear the audio advertisement, and then as the visitor enters the page with the PPP code installed, the audio advertisement will start.
The audio advertisement will play only once for 5 seconds. Contrary to Google Adsense you will be paid Per-Play and not Per-Click.

What Can I Earn? You ask.

As a site/blog owner (publisher/righter) you will earn a quarter (25%) of the total that the advertiser spent on the PPP ads heard on your site/blog. If you have sites or blogs referred by you than you will earn 5% of the total that the advertiser spent on the PPP ads played on that referred sites or blogs. Paying a lot more than Google AdSense does. If you are thinking that it can’t get better than this you are thinking wrong, because you will earn an additional 5% of the total that the advertiser spent on the PPP ads played on the sites/blogs that your direct referrals have referred.

Shareapic Pays You For Hosting Pictures

Pictures and Video always had a great demand on the web. The dispute for the market assumes greater proportions, but it’s the public who wins the most with this dispute, even though the advertising is very aggressive.
Shareapic comes in to the dispute with a well organized service addition of photos, offering you a friendly interface that easy allow you to free upload your pics to construct your album, get an embed code then display the pic on your site of choice, but here comes the difference from the others, every registered Shareapic user gets a cut of any advertising revenues Shareapic makes.
“Primarily this isn’t based on advertising revenue made against each image (although users can add their Adsense code for some revenue via Google), payments are calculated based on image views. Their example:

If in month one Shareapic calculates to distribute $1,000 to our members, we will first tally up the total number of image views for that month. Using these two numbers we can determine the respective payouts for each user. If there were a total of 500,000 image views for the month, image views will equate to $0.002 each (1,000 divided by 500,000), or $2 per 1000 image views. If you’re posting lots of pics in forums, MySpace or eBay, you can see how easy it is to earn quite a bit of money!” Seen in techcrunch.com
Shareapic changes the perspective of current services like ImageShack and Photobucket in which is given to the user a large space to store images and pictures but the income generated by the visits stays with them.

Increase your Adsense Profit!

Google AdSense is probably the company that generates more profit in the world with online advertising, with Pay Per Click and by page impression. It is certainly an indispensable tool for those who want to make money online. You can generate thousands of dollars through this tool. It takes time but the medium and long term can be a good profit generator. For this to happen it is necessary to adopt some strategies as proper ads placement. Since the initial steps are made, AdSense runs on autopilot and you no longer need to update or upgrade to generate money. To make a better profit from AdSense you should follow some basic steps in the integration of ads on our site/blog.

1- Integrate the links of the ads in your template instead of making them “glow on the dark”.

Adjust the colours of the ads link to the colour of your site. This ensures more clicks. By using different colours to highlight the links will make the reader automatically associate the links advertising or spam and will cause lost of interest on them. It is the same when we came to the house and there are dozens of advertising emails in the mailbox, you see 1 or 2 and the rest goes to the trash. Merge the ads to your site.

2- Use the template "Large Rectangle (336X280)" it’s the format with higher CTR.

Some time ago I heard about this and I did an experiment on page articles, the fact is that little by little my AdSense earnings began to increase more significantly. Use it in individual pages and see your earnings increase.

3- Placement is crucial, no links at the bottom of the page.
Some people like to put ads on the bottom of the page in the footer area. This may devalue the clicks and is where the worst of the AdSense earnings are made. If you want ads on the bottom of the page suggest find a sponsor to pay for it and avoid using AdSense at the end of the page. The places where the ads work best are in the sidebar and near the headers. Tip: While in terms of usability the sidebars should be in the right often a sidebar on the left generate more earnings. I wish that a reader did a study on this. What is the best location of the sidebar?

4- Text links work best than images?

It is a question irrelevant. The most experienced users are tired of navigating a site with pictures to affiliates, soon become automatic link an image to advertising and from this point they avoid clicking on the image. Text links, integrated into the colour scheme of the site, links appear to be normal and are no longer associated with bad advertising.

5- Create proper channels.

AdSense allows creating channels to better analyze the ads in your site. Many people pass this step and give no importance. With the help of channels you can know the placement of ads that is working better. You can rethink strategies to better monetize and know the spaces that generate less profit. Performance is important.
There are many important aspects that people no longer forget when working with AdSense. Take some time to optimize the ads, try a different placement, and talk with others on strategies that work best. If you are interested in doing studies with AdSense I suggest intervals of 3 to 4 weeks to try different placements and different ads. Don’t forget to leave a comment here...

WidgetBucks! A good alternative to make money

WidgetBucks is a new PPC (pay per click) program, like Google Adsense but with the difference of presenting products of major Corporations such as e-Bay, Amazon, Best Buy, etc. The WidgetBucks widget is quite stylus and fit well in the majority of the existing layouts. As said, its biggest advantage is the payment per click which makes it a great option to Google Adsense, and improve the profitability of your site / blog. The registration takes little more than 15 seconds, you only need a valid email and chose a "password". You then confirm the email address and that is it, you are ready to start.
Creating an ad is also very easy. Ads are available in either normal format, and in dozens of colours, although they aren’t 100% configurable, but they will get there. See the graphic aspect of the ad at your right.
As a launch promotion, they are paying a bonus of $25 (twenty-five US dollars) just for register.
The big advantage that
WidgetBucks has on many programs of the same kind is that they pay per click rather than by action, as for example AuctionAds does. Another positive aspect in this system, is that the ads are way more attractive, inviting and appealing to the eye, leading more people to click. These type of business is emerging because Google, and is "smart pricing" is becoming very expensive to purchase clicks by the “price comparison sites”, like Shopping.com. The reason for this is that these companies want to buy clicks from Google, by $0,10 and then want to sell them for $0,20 or $0,25 to the advertisers. I know this because I already used these companies. The difference is that visitors they send convert very well, making the cost per click also higher. My advice is that you make your registration as soon as possible, because things on the Internet propagate so quickly that any time soon the WidgetBucks can either change the acceptance criteria or even stop the $25 bonus. And then do the Mat and see the profitability of this opportunity, including the percentage of clicks and even value per click that you can make with WidgetBucks.
In addition to the $25 for registration, then also pay $5 each time you find someone who reach $25 of income (not very difficult).
Enjoy, because the promotion of $ 25 (twenty-five US dollars) can stop at any time.

How To: Profit with Affiliate Programs

Earn $$ with WidgetBucks!

In recent years the blog phenomenon has conquer the world. Nearly 4 out of 10 Europeans reported having read a blog at least once in their life, and half that group reported reading blogs regularly. According to the associated press; internet users who regularly read blogs are far more likely to spend money online. With these statistics it is no surprise that generating blog profit with affiliate programs has become one of the leading passive income opportunities. Successful bloggers who write on topics they are passionate about can easily generate a very healthy passive income through blog profit, and most blog authors have a lot of fun doing it.
The first step in the blog profit process is to find a topic. Some great Man once said: "The man who writes about himself and his own time is the man who writes about all people and all time." It is important to select a topic that you are very familiar with. Hobbies you are passionate about, the industry you work in, movie genres or sports that you really enjoy are all great places to start. If you are writing directly from your own experiences, readers will easily be able to identify with you which is the best way to keep a regular audience. Keeping a regular audience is golden ticket to
blog profit.
In the beginning it will take some work to grow an audience. One of the best ways to grow your audience is to create profiles on web forums that are related to your content. In your profile, include a link to your blog. Now use that profile to make intelligent, helpful posts within the forum. Forum readers will see your post, and often will follow the link in your signature, taking them to your blog. If your blog has useful information to them, they will likely return to your blog at later dates. Another great tactic is to write articles related to your blog. These can have dual benefits as you can also use them for blog posts. Upload your articles to free article directories and make sure to include a link to your blog in the provided resource box. As you begin to develop your blog you will likely see your
blog profit increasing.
Now that you have an audience, you will need to learn exactly how to generate blog profit with
affiliate programs. This part is pretty simple and with the right techniques it can be very powerful. The first step in generating blog profit is to create a list of products and services your audience will be interested in. For instance, if your blog is about football, your readers may be interested in signing up for fantasy football or buying cheap game tickets. Build a list of several products then visit an affiliate program management site such as Commission Junction. Once there you can locate affiliate programs that offer the products and services on your list.
After you have signed up for the programs, you will want to advertise the products or services in a couple of different ways. The first way is to create links from specific words. In our football example, you may link the word "tickets" wherever it appears to your affiliate program from a sports ticket site. The second way to advertise your programs is to place banner or text ads in various locations on the blog, just be careful not to clutter the blog too much or you may discourage readers. If your ads are related to the content of the blog, there is a high chance your readers will follow the links. When users follow your affiliate links and purchase products or services, you make a percentage of the sale as blog profit.
A third method for generating blog profit is utilizing
Google's Adsense. Adsense allows you to create customized ad boxes within your blog. It automatically searches your blog and displays ads related to your content. Google then pays you each time your readers click the advertisements. This is probably the quickest method for placing ads on your blog to begin generating blog profit as quick as possible.
You can also generate blog profit indirectly by collecting the email addresses of your readers. This can be done through adding a subscription requirement to your blog, or by simply offering readers the chance to receive extra related material by email. If your users agree to receive offers by email, you can create email newsletters that feature some of your affiliate program products and services. With a large enough email list, you can generate as much passive income through your indirect blog profit as you can from your direct blog profit.
In closing I would like to say that there are many opportunities for
generating passive income online. Blog profit with affiliate programs can be a very powerful source of passive income. If you are honestly seeking ways to gain freedom from the typical J.O.B. (Just Over Broke), and you are willing to put in the time and effort required, I truly believe you can build wealth and freedom through blog profit.

How To: Start making money with Google AdSense?

I've been reading a bit about how people can make money off their Web site by joining up with the Google AdSense program, but I really don't understand how it all works. Do I need to find advertisers? Do I bill them for showing up on my site? Or does Google do all this?
You're not alone in being interested in this Google program. Leveraging its powerful page analysis system,
Google's AdSense program automatically matches the best possible advertisements with the content on your Web page, making the ads magically quite relevant to your content.
Behind the scenes, it works like this: an advertiser goes to the
Google AdWords system, signs up, and creates one or more advertisements that they want to pay to have appeared either on Google's search result pages or on "content pages". Those content pages are Web sites run by individuals and organizations that include AdSense, which is the "consume" side of this equation.
What makes this more interesting is that advertisers don't pay to have their adverts show up on either Google or separate content sites, but instead pay when the ads are clicked by customers, what we call "Pay Per Click" or PPC. A percentage of the amount that the company pays Google for displaying the ad is then shared with the AdSense-enabled web site owner.
If, say, the advertiser pays $10.00 for a visitor to their site through
AdWords, then Google will pay a percentage of that amount (the exactly amount has not been stated by the company) to you, perhaps $2.00, perhaps more.
I realize that $2.00 doesn't sound like much money, but if you have a few hundred visitors a week, and some percentage of them click on these adverts, you could easily make $20-$100 or much (much!) more from your site each week, without having to do any work other than add the special
AdSense code to the pages in the first place.
It's simple, easy to accomplish, you never have to negotiate (or even talk) with advertisers, you don't have to bill anyone at all, and every month or two you'll get a nice little check from Google corporate. Nice!
So let's talk about the exact steps required to actually get going with the
AdSense program. First and foremost, you need to sign up for the AdSense program, which you can do by clicking in the button:

Note that when you sign up, you'll need to specify a Web site or weblog that you plan on incorporating AdSense: not every site is approved, however, so make sure yours has valuable and unique content and a design that doesn't include too many advertisements.
Once you're approved, it's time to log in and configure your new
AdSense advertisement to include on your site!
When you first log in, you'll see the following navigation bar:

Click on "AdSense Setup" and it will be given 3 options to you, AdSense for Content; AdSense for Search and Referrals.

Lets leave AdSense for Search and Referrals for latter.
Click on AdSense for Content and you'll be ready to configure your ad. Now, don't worry: configuration is pretty easy and kinda fun too, you get to pick colours, sizes, and much more.
Once you've clicked on the "AdSense for Content" tab, your next step will be to decide what type of advertisements you want Google to serve up on your own pages:

I suggest you start out with a text "Ad unit", as shown here: the other type of content adverts are less generally useful, less flexible, and typically also have a much lower payout, according to the grapevine.
The next section of your task is to specify the format and layout of your AdSense ad, and there are a rather amazing number of different size and format options. Google has a helpful Google AdSense Ad Formats that's worth a quick peek.
Here at
2refresh, I use different types of ads, must of them are blended with the page, making the page easier to the eye. Your layout will inevitably be different and you might choose a different layout entirely. Further, you are allowed to have up to three different ad units on a given page, so you can experiment with them one atop the other, adjacent to each other, or interspersed with your content. Just try to remember that if there's no content, there's no page.
Now that you've picked an ad layout size (and yes, you can change it at any time too) it's time to have fun: changing the colour scheme of the ad itself. My handy tip: use a border colour that's the same as the page in question (as I do on this page) so that it's less overt that the ads are actually advertisements. It helps people not gloss over them and, hopefully, click on the ads a bit more frequently.
The built-in colour schemes are nice too, of course, if you want to use them, but just as with the sizes, I strongly recommend that you experiment with different colour schemes and see if you get a better percentage of clickthrus and greater revenue. Perhaps once a week you can change to another colour scheme and then track week-by-week what works best?
The next step is to specify an alternate Ad URL or colour

The idea behind alternate ads is that sometimes no advertisers have bid on advertising for the keywords, leading Google to a pickle: what to display? By default, it instead displays public service ads (PSAs), but if you want to create an HTML snippet that produces the same size content, you can use that instead, or, you can simply have a solid box in the color of your choice that blends into the design of your site.
Now you can chose a Channel that let you organize your
AdSense results by Web site (if you have more than one site) or by areas of your site. On this site, for example, I have a channel for "home page leaderboard" and another for "large rectangle" so I can compare how each format is doing, rather than just guessing in the aggregate. It's much easier to start correctly than to retrofit this sort of thing, so take the time and set up a basic channel or two to begin categorizing your results.

Choose a name for the AdSense unit and then save it.

Finally, you've made all the settings you need and it's time to grab the HTML snippet that'll generate the ad block on your own site!

Your specifics will be a bit different from what you see in this, but the code will generally look identical. Just Select all the text in the box, and then Copy.
Now open up a page where you'd like to include the AdSense code or a template if you're working with something like a weblog system, and Paste in the new code, and that's it!
Important Warning: do not click on your ads!
I think one of the most common mistakes that new
AdSense participants make is to click on an advert or three to "make a quick buck". Sounds good in theory, but you'll end up kicked out of the AdSense program if you click on ads shown on your own pages, which is not a good strategy for earning money!
Anyway, that's the basic set of steps. Don't delay and don't wait for tomorrow: go to the beginning of this article to sign up for
AdSense, or do it right here then go through these steps and you can start turning your cost centre of a Web site into a revenue generation system, modest or otherwise!

OMG II

After I lost my mind trying to get the AdSense right, I’m just starting out with trying to monetize my blog, there are a few things I have to consider, such as aesthetics (meaning I cannot just place macive ads around my blog), and traffic (meaning the more traffic I have, the better revenues I’ll get).So I decided to experiment with layouts and colour schemes.

My friend said that “there are two schools of thought when it comes to AdSense design and laying out. One, some people seem to click more when the ads look like they’re part of the site’s layout. Two, others seem to get more clickthroughs when the ads are more visible, such as when they are contrasting with the site’s layout.”

And He show me a AdSense heatmap.

All I have to do is put AdSense ads in strategically places of my blog? I asked

He said: “This is very much dependent on your target audience, and the general design of your blog. One good rule of thumb is to determine what looks good yourself, and to ask feedback from others, whether your ads are acceptable. If they stand out too much, you risk making your blog ugly. If they blend in too much, people might not click on them. The right balance would make your readers think your ads are part of your site’s layout (as sponsors) and would generate enough interest for clicking.
Be patient! Give it time. AdSense adjustments may not take effect instantly. Well, design changes will take effect as soon as you paste in the code and publish the new design. But what’s more important is how your readers react to your ads–whether they click more, and whether you get more dollars per click.”

AdSense? OMG

Oh my god, I’ve just heard of AdSense, they say that is by far the most popular contextual advertising system today. It’s ease-of-installation and use, and it’s compatible with most blogging packages available. This includes Blogger (YES), which is also owned by Google. Blogger even has AdSense setup built into its blog editor.

A friend of mine gave me some tips:

He said: There are several things to consider when starting out. You cannot just plaster ads all
over your blog in the hopes that you’ll earn a few dollars because chances are you will probably earn very little if your AdSense campaign is not well planned and well executed.

He said: Are you willing to adjust your blog’s design and layout to give space to ads?

I said: Hell yeah!

He said: Not all bloggers are sensitive about design. But do consider that once you put in ads on your sidebar or main body (or anywhere for that matter), you will have to include additional design elements to your blog. If done improperly, your site can even appear cluttered with AdSense ads! Also some bloggers would rather have their ads unobtrusive, so the focus would be the main content. Others prefer the ads to be the first thing that a reader sees–this can bring in more clicks (and more money!) but at the expense of your readers being directed elsewhere once they click.

I said: that’s all?

He said: No. Is your traffic good enough? If you just started blogging recently, then you might want to increase your readership first before putting ads on your site. You can usually expect a clickthrough rate of less than 10% (and anything very high would look suspicious to Google and you might get banned). You might just get frustrated if you don’t get the clickthroughs and the revenues that you’re aiming for, if you have low traffic.

I said: how many views do I nead?

He said: One good rule of thumb in forecasting monthly revenues is using the daily page views x a theoretical clickthrough of 3% x $ 0.10 per click (this is highly dependent on your topic/keywords/niche!) x 30 days. So if you get 500 page views per day, your estimate would be $ 1.50 per day or $ 45 per month. But since the AdSense minimum is $ 100 before releasing a check, you better target $ 100 per month at least. And for this you would need about 1000 page views per day.

I said: 1000 per day, omg, I don’t have that many friends…
